Tour activities and Saturday report

Today was a very long day, most of it spent on the Ghanaian highways.  We were able to secure another performance venue, this one in a meeting house in Takoradi.  The stake president in this region, President Davis, may be the most cheerful Ghanaian man we have met!

We then were able to preview the National forest we will visit together.  It's too bad we can't spend longer there, as it is beautiful, and we are not going to see much wildlife there, but we'll take a walk in the forest canopy, on a bridge about 100 feet off the ground. (I'm sure the tenors would love to camp out here.)

Two more tour highlights below need no explanation.

And now, after fighting this technology for the second late night in a row, I am heading to bed.  I will try to post from London during our layover.  I will also invite my touring companions to add posts with their thoughts and impressions.  Brother Page will be coming with us and will be the key player in helping us organize our visit and keep it on schedule.  He and Brother Sparhawk are both wonderful men and it has been a privilege and a joy to travel with them.

Love, BroK
