We Made It!

Our group made it safely to Ghana! We are so tired, as you can imagine, but we love it here.
Our skin has never felt so amazing. We met with the Pathway students here in Ghana and practiced with them for an upcoming performance. We have been completely overwhelmed by the spirit we have felt and we can't wait to continue to meet new people who will leave their marks on our own hearts. The people are great, and full of love, life, and character. The picture below is of a young man who made his tie out of beads! The temple here is, of course, beautiful. We will post more as our journey continues! But for now- WE'RE IN AFRICA!!!

  3. Wecome to Ghana - your pictures bring back so many wonderful memories. Please give all our love - especially the temple workers, whom you will find everyplace you perform. What a blessing in your lives and the lives you are touching as you are there. Wonderful ambassadors for the church. God bless you. Enjoy. Love, Gaye Breillatt

    1. Gaye, I'm sure you know Boyd Newman. This is his son, Mark. My son and daughter in law are with this tour group singing with Collegiate singers. I am so envious of them coming to Ghana. In West Berlin, on my mission in 1980-1982, I had the great blessing to teach and baptize many saints from Ghana, Nigeria and Liberia. I would love to go there someday! I'm thrilled that you and your husband were able to serve in the temple. What a blessing!

    2. Boyd sent us their pictures and comments - small world that we know three singing in the choir there. We miss Ghana and those beautiful people so much - I hope you can go there someday - it changes the lives of any who do. Three years was an incredible amount of time - we loved every minute.
